CP was asked to develop a plan to increase facility use and to model the way forward and demonstrate the impact of key management initiatives on achieving sustainability, highlighting steps to right-size the cost structure, restore current profitability, upgrade technology, and physical facilities, and renegotiate and/or work off past due obligations. Our team developed a short-term plan supplemented by focused research to identify best practices and test market assumptions
CP was asked to help increase annual visitation. Our team developed a marketing plan that combined an understanding of visitor objectives and potential program and exhibition initiatives to increase visitor interest. We also identified key segments of the Zoo audience, profiled their preferred experience, and identified ways to make it better.

CP was asked to provide ideas and advice regarding the ways the client’s mission statement could be improved. We facilitated a workshop with input from employees, board members, volunteers, and long-term supporters and friends, and crafted four potential mission statements.

CP was asked to help develop a strategic plan for the next five years. Our team developed a plan with two major goals: a “paradigm shift” and plan to bolster funding significantly. We helped manage the planning effort
CP was asked to assist in developing a strategic plan. Our team led a series of working sessions to organize and prioritize issues/opportunities and to set the stage for effective implementation. A draft strategic plan was developed.
CP was asked to assist with the development of a strategic plan building on the national society’s strategic plan that involved eight “workstreams” related to key programs. Our team worked with workstream leaders on the structure of their objectives and strategies/critical steps and made suggestions on the structure of the essential elements of their plans; key assumptions regarding the sciences; availability of data to track progress; and staff and financial requirements.
The Community Partners team developed a prioritized marketing plan based on an understanding of AFL’s economics, programs and customers, and the needs of schools and other potential venues across Fairfield County.
The Community Partners team interviewed key staff, board members, selected donors and other supporters, and developed a three-year strategic plan that included long-term goals and objectives, strategic priorities, timelines, and key milestones.
We identified an approach to evaluate and rate training opportunities, balancing impact, resource requirements and likelihood of success. We developed templates they could use in the future as new opportunities were identified to apply the same process.
The Impact Vine is an initiative funded by The Community Fund of Darien. A team of Community Partners volunteers with knowledge of crowdfunding and social media held a two-hour structured discussion with the program director and board members to brainstorm ways to help The Impact Vine grow, to help more nonprofits.
