Collective Oyster Recycling & Restoration (CORR)

CORR, a nonprofit dedicated to oyster shell recycling and environmental restoration, sought CP’s expertise to develop an expansion strategy. The CP team benchmarked best practices, applied a balanced scorecard approach, and formulated a roadmap for growth, board development, and brand recognition. CORR has since begun implementing the recommendations.

Mystic Seaport

Mystic Seaport Museum launched a youth social impact program and engaged CP to develop an evaluation system to measure its effectiveness. CP identified a leading out-of-school program assessment tool and facilitated a partnership between the museum and the assessment provider. Additionally, CP provided recommendations for improving the program’s structure after its first year.

Aspetuck Health District

Aspetuck Health District (AHD), serving Westport, Weston, and Easton, sought CP’s assistance in developing an updated strategic plan. Using a balanced scorecard approach, the CP team worked closely with AHD leadership to improve operational efficiency, enhance staffing models, and optimize public health services. The board adopted the plan, providing a roadmap for the next three years.

Catholic Charities of Fairfield County (CCFC)

CP helped CCFC refine its self-sufficiency program by implementing a Self-Sufficiency Index to track client progress. The initiative led to improved case management and personalized pathways toward long-term independence for vulnerable individuals and families in Norwalk.

Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH)

CCEH, a statewide coalition, launched a 3-year strategic planning initiative to define its leadership role in a new collective impact group. CP conducted stakeholder interviews and developed a strategic roadmap to guide advocacy efforts, funding priorities, and statewide collaborations to prevent homelessness.

With growing enrollment, Future 5 engaged CP to craft a strategic plan to guide future growth. The team developed initiatives to scale student capacity, enhance impact measurement, and assess facility expansion needs. The plan is guiding Future 5’s sustainable growth and capital campaign.

Connecticut Council of Family Service Agencies (CCFSA)

CP conducted a benchmark survey of behavioral health services at 8 agencies and then facilitated a workshop for the participating behavioral health directors at CCFSA, focusing on improving information-sharing and best practices. The project set the foundation for ongoing collaboration among family service agencies statewide.

Horizons National

Horizons National sought CP’s insight on implementing a sliding-scale tuition model for its summer learning programs. CP conducted benchmarking and stakeholder interviews, concluding that the model was unlikely to materially impact Horizon’s goals.  Horizons is now pursuing alternative revenue strategies.

Stamford Cradle to Career (SC2C)

SC2C aimed to improve third-grade literacy outcomes for English Language Learners (ELL) at Toquam Elementary. CP helped design a project framework, establish key metrics, and align stakeholders. However, structural changes in Stamford’s school system’s ELL program led to project discontinuation.

Tiny Miracles Foundation

Tiny Miracles, which supports families of premature infants, engaged CP to develop a 3-year strategic plan. The plan refined mission clarity, improved the value proposition for hospitals, and renewed focus on fundraising. The nonprofit has since secured increased funding and expanded its impact.
