The Undies Project, a nonprofit providing essential undergarments to those in need, sought CP’s assistance in transitioning from a founder-led organization to a more sustainable model. The CP team helped design a long-term organizational structure and a three-year transition roadmap, which the organization has begun implementing.

CP assisted The Community Fund of Darien in evaluating the impact of strategic grant-making models. By evaluating TCF’s grant history, evolving interest areas and priorities, changes in support, donor interviews, and citizen surveys, the CP team identified potential pathways forward. The session then explored potential changes to grant allocation, donor engagement, and marketing strategies to enhance the organization’s impact and sustainability.

Study Hall, a nonprofit providing tutoring and college prep services, engaged CP to develop a sustainable business model. The CP team facilitated discussions on program success factors, economic models, and growth strategies. The organization has since expanded its reach and programming.

CP supported Connecticut Audubon Society leadership in reviewing their organizational structure to improve the roles and relationships between headquarters and regional centers. The CP team facilitated discussions and helped clarify options for board decisions.

Curtain Call, Stamford’s only year-round community theater, sought CP’s insights on evolving its board from an operational focus to a high-performance fundraising entity. CP alumni brainstormed strategies for board recruitment, capital campaign positioning, and donor engagement.

PEHT, an organization supporting survivors of human trafficking, engaged CP to strengthen board governance. CP conducted board member interviews, administered a board survey, and led a workshop to refine roles, committee structures, and recruitment practices.

Klein Auditorium, a major cultural venue in Bridgeport, sought CP’s help in creating a three-year strategic plan. CP facilitated board discussions, assessed governance effectiveness, and developed strategies to enhance programming diversity and fundraising. As a result, Klein hired a development director and restructured its board committees.

Facing enrollment and financial challenges, the University of Bridgeport partnered with CP to develop a three-year strategic plan. Using a balanced scorecard approach, CP created actionable recommendations, including new academic programs, improved student engagement, and brand repositioning efforts. The university board adopted the plan.

The Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence engaged CP to refresh its three-year strategic plan. CP conducted internal and external interviews and applied a balanced scorecard approach to structure the plan. The final strategy focuses on prevention, member center impact, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.

New Neighborhoods, a statewide nonprofit affordable housing provider, worked with CP to develop a new strategic plan. CP guided the organization in expanding housing properties, enhancing tenant services, strengthening operational effectiveness, and improving governance structures.
